Martina Eisenreich
was considerably younger than her fellow students when she got accepted at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich studying classical composition. She continued her studies with Film Scoring there as well as at the Film Academy of Baden-Württemberg. Thanks to her distinctive aesthetic approach, her expressive and unique voice as a composer receives world wide attention. Since 2009 Martina Eisenreich has been teaching at the HFF / University for Television and Film Munich. In 2013 and 2014 her work was awarded with the German Record Critics' Award and the Rolf-Hans Müller Award for Best German Television Film Score - the highest value award for film music in Germany. Since 2016, Martina has devoted herself increasingly to conducting, mentored by David Newman, Angel Velez and Conrad Pope in Los Angeles. She is working as a composer for European and American movies as well as for the concert hall.
Wolfgang Lohmeier – percussion and paraphernalia
Being one of the most unusual sound wizards in the international film score scene Wolfgang has set standards as musician and producer. He played with Elbtonal Percussion, the German Film Orchestra Babelsberg, the Munich Radio Orchestra and jazz-world quartet Quadro Nuevo. He has produced soundscapes for well-known acts of the likes of Sternschnuppe Kinderlieder, a publishing house for children's songs and nursery rhymes, Schariwari, a Bavarian folk rock band, Rauhnacht (Twelfth Night), and for actor and singer Michael Fitz. He was awarded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the German Phono Academy and he has received the Jazz Award no less than four times. Together with his wife, composer Martina Eisenreich, he tours Europe and he certainly adds to the cinematic intensity with his phantastic capacious 4 meter-tall sound installation. Vladislav Cojocaru – accordion
was born in Cimişlia, Moldova. He studied accordion and piano at the academy of music and theater in Chişinău. In 2003 he continued his studies in Germany at the Richard-Strauss academy of music in Munich, Germany, where he graduated in 2009 and received both: a paedagogic as well as an artistic diploma. Throughout his musical carreer, Vlad won many competitions and awards. Besides others, he excelled in the famous accordion-contests "Eugen Coca" and "Barbu Lautaru" in Chisinau as well as legendary "Jocurile delfice" in Breansk, Russia. His wide bandwith of Ensemble work leads him across the borders of classical music, featuring Jazz music, modern bavarian as well as eastern european music.
Giorgi Makhoshvili – contrabass
was born in Tiflis, Giorgia, where he studied contrabass at the academy of music. Later, he came to Germany to join the world-renowned master class, Prof. Klaus Trumpf at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich. Through this exciting synthesis he was growing as an extraordinarily multifaceted artist: after graduation, Giorgi continued studying Jazz and E-bass with Paolo Cardoso and worked with the United World Youth Orchestra, the Young Austrian Philharmonics, Schleswig Holstein Festival Orchestra, Ingolstadt Chamber Orchestra as well as with Orchestra Academies of Luzern and Bavaria. With his famous international contrabass ensemble, "Bassiona Amorosa", he received an "Echo Klassik", the most prestigious music award in Germany. Besides his multiple prizes in world-wide competitions, he is also known as composer, creating important repertoire for bass ensemble that has been published by Friedrich Hofmeister Musikverlag. Many of his peaces have been recorded by famed artists such as Giora Feidman.
Christoph Müller-Bombart – guitars, glasses &pedals
After successfully graduating from his studies under Peter O’Mara at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich his gift to use his instrument to tell whole stories has already led him to a successful and s teady collaboration with composer and violinist Martina Eisenreich and to many international film, television and theatrical productions. Christoph has toured the European stages in the Martina Eisenreich Quartet for more than one thousand concerts, getting inspiration and creating new music when playing live with the ensemble. He started his first solo programme with percussionist Bernhard Pricha.HOME is Christoph's first solo album collaborating with US singer Rebecca Lovell of "Larkin Poe" (U.S.A.).
