Martina Eisenreich, Composer
Classical music, electronica, tradition and archetype: composer Martina Eisenreich brings it all together. With her intricate and emotionally charged compositions, she captivates audiences in concert halls, cinemas, and intimate art venues alike.
Martina Eisenreich ranks among the most frequently performed composers in German orchestral concert series, while also standing out as one of Europe’s most successful film composers. She began performing on accordion at the age of three and soon added a host of other instruments. She entered the Munich University of Music to study composition at fifteen, and later toured as a violinist with her own band. Her distinctive musical voice, shaped by a seamless fusion of worlds, has earned her numerous honors, including the German TV Award, the German Film Music Award (as its first female recipient, and later a two-time winner), the German Record Critics’ Award, and the Bavarian Cultural Prize.
Her notable film scores include the ARD series Herrhausen - The Banker and the bomb (currently nominated for the 2025 International Emmy Awards) and the Paramount series One Trillion Dollars. Beginning November 29, her new fairy-tale operetta Aschenbrödel’s Dream enters the repertoire of the Vienna Volksoper.
